Conference Format
The ESMC2012 Conference will last five days (Monday to Friday). One afternoon will be reserved for free activities or possible organized trips. During the conference there will be one General Lecture and several Plenary Lectures, including the "EUROMECH Solid Mechanics Prize" lecture. Each day there will be one or two Plenary Lectures, invited Mini-Symposia, several General Sessions and Poster Sessions. These are listed under the following links:

Each presentation within Mini-Symposia and General Sessions will be allocated 20 minutes, including discussion. The files required for the presentation (PowerPoint or PDF, for example) should be uploaded and tested on the conference computers before the session. Presentations from personal computers are discouraged.
An award ceremony for EUROMECH Fellows will be held and the best oral and poster presentations by Young Researchers, aged under 35, will be rewarded with prizes.
